Making The Animation

When creating the animation I had to go through certain steps to get to the final piece-

Starting with photoshop I got on with creating the separate layers for a moving horse and text

Next I got on with the text of the animation- also in photoshop
With every thing on separate layers on photoshop i can import it onto flash and then animate it.

By creating motion, frames and layers the animation quickly took shape to the final piece.

Completing and Evaluating the Product

Now after alot of hard work, my project is complete to an extent when all i need to do is set it up and project with it. Furthermore i have added new features to my product, such as an animation which should work to make more sense of my abstract piece.

To evaluate, their was alot of confusion, i couldn't get past visualising and gathering the confidence to make my own decisions, and i needed alot of help from Mrs Stower and alot of lunchtimes to get back on track to completion and the deadlines. However I think this has really taught me to trust myself when designing, to always keep a clear mind and a perspective on what you want this product's purpose and impact to be. In addition when it comes to sixth form i think i will alot more prepared for the work load and pressure to come with being independent.

Final Design- The Last Test (Piecing Everything Together)

With these ideas, now i can see how they piece together with this final design mock only with a difference of projecting the patterns on the blade rather than these filtered tests. With fabric as a background and tracing paper to project onto and through the ideas are really coming together.

Final Design Mock- How It Was Done

For my mock test I used a projector, filters with materials/colours and projected with light onto a surface. However I need fabrics and to somehow project these patriotic blade patterns onto a textured surface.
